ESFI is grateful for all of its community and coporate partners who helped to make National Electrical Safety Month a huge success this year.

To launch May's activities, ESFI announced that it would be making a special donation to the Adams National Historical Park by upgrading John Adams’ famous home with the most advanced electrical technology available. This donation will ensure that one of America’s treasures will benefit from the extra fire protection that the new technology brings.

During May, ESFI worked with local fire officials to draw media attention to the important electrical issues addressed in this year's campaign. Electrical Safety Month stories ran on news stations in Washington DC, Atlanta, Milwaukee and in other communities across the United States.

Additionally, for this year's campaign ESFI created a new booklet addressing electrical safety in aging homes and two new public service announcements on arc fault circuit interrupters (AFCIs) and tamper-resistant outlets.
The Foundation would like to thank everyone who helped address electrical safety in May!
